Endometrial Ablation Equipment

Tender description

Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust (the Authority) is seeking informal expressions of interest (EOIs) from organisations able to provide Endometrial Ablation Equipment for patients suffering from excessive or prolonged bleeding during their menstrual cycle. At this stage, the Authority is only seeking EOIs to establish the level of market interest. This notice represents the first step of an engagement process to understand the capabilities and solutions available within the marketplace. The Authority may proceed with a tender process at a later date. Any Potential Provider will be expected to fully comply with the relevant NHS Terms & Conditions of contract. All expressions of interest should be submitted via the eSourcing portal (www.nhssourcing.co.uk) by 22nd July 2013 at 17:00 along with the PIN Information Required (please note that this document is labelled PQQ_28550, however it is not a Pre Qualification Questionnaire, solely a document used for information gathering purposes). Any Expressions of Interest received following this date may not be taken into consideration. Potential Providers must describe, in no more than 500 words, the following: •A description of your Endometrial Ablation treatment, including full details of the device used •Previous uptake by other organisations (please list all relevant organisations) and their success rates and; •How you would supply the Endometrial Ablation Equipment to the Authority.
