Requirement title:- Electrical Maintenance This is a requirement for Translink and returns for this section are due by: 15 May 2014 15:00 UK Local Time at 15.00 hours The Project is for the provision of an Electrical Maintenance Contractor to perform the following works to Translink sites: • Planned Electrical Maintenance • Small capital works • Testing & Repairs i.e. 1. PAT 2. Periodic Inspection & Testing 3. Emergency Lighting 4. IR testing • Installation and commissioning of fixed electrical installations • Remedial work resulting from inspections • Respond and repair to breakdowns • Supplement the in-house resources The work sites will be at multiple Translink locations across Northern Ireland. The successful Economic Operator will be expected to work night shifts, on weekends and during holidays as well as during the normal working week of Monday to Friday – as required Some of the work is within the railway environment which is safety critical and as such personnel working on this project will have to obtain a Personnel Track Safety certification It is anticipated that the 5 Economic Operators that satisfy the requirements set out in the MOI and who achieve the highest scores in the technical or professional ability evaluation process will be short-listed and invited to submit tenders. Where there is a tie for the available places, then all Economic Operators in contention for the available place will be subject to a random selection process. For the purposes of this exercise a tie for the available places is deemed to occur where two or more Economic Operators have identical scores or a score within 1 marks (out of a score of 100) of the available place score. In the event that procurement is unavoidably delayed, but not cancelled, the PQQs will be assessed at time of receipt and applicants will be notified of the outcome. The maximum period that the short-list will be maintained is 18 months from the PQQP submission date
