Ejectment Solicitors Panels

Tender description

The Housing Executive invites tenders for Ejectment Solicitors Panels. The Housing Executive intends to procure three Ejectment Solicitors Panels by way of Lots. These are Greater Belfast Panel, South Panel and North and West Panel. The three Ejectment Solicitors Panels will have one member each. Each Panel covers a distinct geographical area. The work involves representing the Housing Executive in possession proceedings arising out of rent arrears and to recover possession of dwellings which have been occupied by squatters. However, at the option of the Housing Executive, Panel members may also be required to represent the Housing Executive in possession proceedings arising out of anti-social behaviour. The Greater Belfast Panel work will also include representing the Housing Executive in debt recovery proceedings arising out of statutory functions of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. For example charges recoverable from tenants due to damage to their dwelling. Tenderers will be required to meet the eligibility criteria as detailed in the tender dcuments, only those tenders which demonstrate they meet the eligibility criteria shall be assessed against the evaluation criteria as detailed in the Ejectment Solicitors Panels Document. There is an optional service. A number of registered housing associations may wish to avail of the services of the Ejectment Solicitors Panels, on the same terms and conditions as apply to the Housing Executive. Membership of the Panel will be for a period of three years.
