Tender description

The contracting authority is looking to seek a provider to undertake the maintenance/ repair of medical equipment and associated management to support compliance in line with national regulatory and statutory bodies which include, but not limited to: •Medicines for Healthcare Regulatory Body (MHRA) DB2006 (05) guidance supplement •IEC 60601-x •IEC62353 Electrical safety standards •Electricity at Work Act including PUWER regulations •CQC Outcome 11 •NHSLA criterion 5.3 and 5.4 The Trust operates across both Dudley and Walsall localities, out of 29 separate buildings providing Mental Health services. Within its portfolio are three inpatient hospitals providing a range of services across various age ranges. The successful bidder will need to provide assurances that the service provided will provide the following functions: Management, Procurement, Acceptance Commissioning, Asset Management, Decontamination, Maintenance, Repairs/ Breakdowns, Risk Management, Disposal and Training.
