The BBC has commissioned the rebuild of the EastEnders Lot, to be built from real materials that reflect the proportions and character of the Existing Eastenders Scenic Lot. The procurement has been split into 2 Lots as follows: Lot 1 – Scenic Contractor The scope of works that the Scenic Contractor will be Responsible for delivering: Scenic Construction The construction of bespoke items, modify/adapting specific items and the subsequent installation of such items. Decoration Responsible for all interior and exterior ‘in-vision’ decoration. Scenic Ageing Responsible for all interior and exterior ‘in-vision’ scenic ageing treatments (all finishes to be of a permanent nature). Lot 2 – Props and Dressing Contractor Props and Dressing Installation: Installation of all Props from the Set Design Inventory. Warehouse (Prop Store) Management: The BBC will provide a temporary Warehouse (Prop Store) and several Storage Areas. The Props and Dressing Contractor will be expected to manage the receipt, cataloguing and the issue of items and materials.
