DSD-Public Realm/Environmental Improvements Schemes Consultant Framework

Tender description

This Framework Agreement is for the provision of construction related Professional Services by a sole Integrated Consultant Team (ICT) associated with Urban Public Realm/Environmental Improvement Schemes. Task orders will be allocated by call-off and for a proposed project the Employer will appoint the Consultant using the NEC3 Professional Services Contract Main Option they consider appropriate to the services and scope. Fees will be based on the Tender Prices arising from the ITT Stage of this Framework procurement process. The nature and scope of each work package will vary significantly and individual scheme implementation costs may range from £50,000 to £2,000,000. The ICT will be required to fully design the Public Realm/Environmental Improvement Schemes and take them through the various stages of consultation with Statutory Bodies and local communities, obtain planning approval and procure and manage Works Contracts. Urban Public Realm/Environmental Improvement Schemes shall generally comprise a combination of landscape and civil engineering elements. Typical work elements may include road and footpath re-surfacing, tree and shrub planting, drainage, walls and railings, lighting, and the incorporation of street furniture. It is anticipated that the majority of schemes will be implemented in the Greater Belfast area.
