Tender description

The scope of this requirement is to bring in external expertise to analyse the way social housing is accessed and allocated in Northern Ireland and, in light of best practice from Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland, make recommendations for further improvement to current approaches and systems based on sound analysis and evidence. The outputs from this project will involve the successful tenderer producing three reports as defined below; 1) A report which sets out a description and analysis of current approaches to accessing and allocating social housing in Northern Ireland; 2) A report which describes best practice approaches in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland to accessing and allocating social housing; and 3) A final report (including executive summary) which synthesises the main issues from the first two reports and makes recommendations on further improvements to current systems and approaches in Northern Ireland in the context of wider policy and strategic priorities.
