Translink seeks a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled Organisation to provide an independent 24/7 Drug and Alcohol Testing service. The service will include drug and alcohol testing, advice on appropriate testing technology, and educational programs. The service provider will be required to manage and carry out an onsite unannounced screening program for drug and alcohol abuse and will also be required to provide a call-out service in the event of ‘for cause’ testing, e.g. where a vehicle has been involved in an incident. The service provider must be able to provide a comprehensive service to all areas of Northern Ireland, and in the case of ‘for cause’ testing, to be on site within 2 hours of call out. Please note that this may include trackside environments with restricted roadside access. There will also be an occasional need to conduct unannounced and ‘for cause’ testing in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
