Dressings IV

Tender description

The Dressings IV contract was established in 2011 which looked to standardise practice across Wales. Historically, the products were included on the Bandages Tapes and Plasters contract, the contract was separated into multiple bespoke category specific agreements, most of which are managed by PADAC. As these items aren’t used to treat wounds and are used in conjunction with the vascular access devices, it was felt that the items should remain within the medical category. The current Dressings IV contract focused on antimicrobial, semi-permeable and vapour-permeable dressings. The scope of the contract includes: Antimicrobial •Chlorohexidine Gluconate (CHG)Transparent Adhesive Film Dressings Semi-permeable/vapour-permeable •Non-ported Transparent Adhesive Film Dressings •Ported Transparent Adhesive Film Dressings •Transparent Adhesive Film Dressings
