Tender description

The Contracting Authority is running a competition for the award of Two (2) Contracts for the Term Contracts for Streetlighting LED Retrofit 2015 (Banbridge and Craigavon). The works will take place in the Banbridge and Craigavon areas and shall be allocated in 2 lots, Lot 1–North (Craigavon/ Portadown) and Lot 2–South (Banbridge/ Dromore). The project aims to replace in the region of 20,000 conventional (i.e. low or high pressure sodium -SOX or SON) street lighting lanterns in Banbridge and Craigavon areas with LED lanterns. The project aim is to reduce the energy consumption and maintenance costs of the street lighting stock in these areas
