Tender description

The scheme in Armagh is located at the Junction of Newry Road and Friary Road and extends to the junction of Scotch Street and Dobbin Street. The aim of the scheme is to improve the efficiency of the Newry Road, Friary Road, Scotch Street and Barrack Street junction. The works involve: • the overlay and widening of approximately 230m along Friary Road • a new 120m link road with footways, mini roundabout, car parking entrances and new parking layout • landscaping in granite kerbing and paving setts/ slabs • Other associated works will include adjustments to the levels of existing utility covers, street lighting provisions traffic signal provision and a new drainage network
