Tender description

The Borough Council of Calderdale (the “Council”) invites Tenders from Tenderers who wish to be considered for a contract to deliver the Council’s Domestic Abuse Support Service (the “Service”). It is anticipated that the contract will commence on the 1st July 2023 for a period of two years with an option to extend (at the discretion of the Council) for a further period or periods of up to thirty-six (36) calendar months. The Service will deliver an outcome-focused, high quality specialist domestic abuse service for young people and adults (aged 16 years and older) across the borough of Calderdale. The Service will form a whole system response to domestic abuse, including identification, referral and triage, with direct support provided to victims and post intervention step down or recovery. The Service will complete assessments of individuals aged 16 years or older who are referred or self-referred into the Service and provide support to those who have been assessed as at, standard, medium or high-level risk of domestic abuse using the Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Honour Based Violence (DASH) Risk Assessment. There are four elements to the Service: 1. comprehensive Domestic Abuse support to victims; 2. out-of-hours victim support (Independent Domestic Abuse Adviser car); 3. move on and recovery provision; 4. partnership working.
