DOJ Supply and Delivery of Wood Pellet Fuel

Northern Ireland Prison Service (NIPS) is an organisation within the Northern Ireland Civil Service, Department of Justice. The organisation, through its staff serves the community by keeping safe and humane custody to those committed by the courts and, by working with them and other parts of the Criminal Justice Systems, seek to reduce the risk of re-offending and help them lead useful lives. CPD, on behalf of NIPS wish to appoint a suitable organisation, to supply wood pellet fuel for an existing biomass boiler installation at HMP Maghaberry. This contract will comprise the supply and delivery of wood fuel pellets to a fuel store fill point adjacent to the central boiler house at HMP Maghaberry. The successful supplier will be required to deliver pellets and ensure that any spillage is cleared once the pellets have been delivered through the conveying system to the fuel store in accordance with the clauses contained within this specification, any accompanying documents, and all relevant legislation.
