Tender description

The Project is for the undertaking of maintenance work to existing peace walls located primarily in Belfast but also in Londonderry and Portadown/Lurgan. The following is a representation of the work which will be involved. a. Cyclical maintenance to hydraulic gates b. Response maintenance i. Repairs to hydraulic gates ii. Painting walls iii. Graffiti removal (either power-hosing brick block walls or painting over existing painted walls). iv. Repairs to wall and fencing v. Repairing damage by vandalism etc. c. Possible changes to peace walls i.e. i. Construction of new runs of walls due to housing development or demographic changes. ii. Lowering height of walls, taking down fencing. iii. Changing type of fencing. d. Emergency response and out of hours response to b & c above.
