Tender description
Under the Juries NI Order 1996 jurors are chosen at random from the electoral register. Each year, the Chief Electoral Officer supplies to the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service, a `Jury List’ of people generated from the electoral register. These people are then issued with a jury notice (1st stage). Those who do not reply are sent a reminder approximately 6-8 weeks after the 1st stage. The 3rd and final stage is the printing of forms associated with jury service.
