TENDER OPPORTUNITY Project Ref 5430 – NIEA - Water Management Unit Water Modelling Contract The Northern Ireland Environment Agency requires a suitably competent Contractor to develop a reliable SIMCAT (SIMulation of the water quality of CATchments) river water quality catchment model that is ‘fit for purpose’ for the whole of Northern Ireland within 12 months of the commencement of the contract. To Contractor shall also be required to provide a seminar for up to 50 NIEA staff to disseminate the outcome of the modelling work including up to a maximum of 5 ‘what-if’ scenarios, and provide training in the use and updating of the model for up to 20 NIEA staff. The successful Contractor must have the ability to provide technical support and maintenance for the SIMCAT model. The closing date for the return of tenders is no later than 3pm on Thursday 29 September 2011. The closing date for requests for further information relating to the contract documents is 3pm on Friday 23 September 2011. Under no circumstances will late tenders be considered, nor is CPD obliged to accept the lowest or any bid.
