Market Sounding Exercise Department of the Environment Vehicle Testing Equipment Provision and Maintenance The Department of the Environment (DOE) is currently considering a range of options for the provision of services to support the delivery of vehicle testing in Northern Ireland. This includes a service for the provision, maintenance and calibration of vehicle testing equipment. Prior to initiating any procurement, the Department wishes to establish the level of market capacity, capability and interest in tendering for the services required. The objectives of the exercise are to obtain up-to-date information and feedback from private sector suppliers on the capability of the market to provide the services required. Suppliers interested in participating in this exercise can download the Market Sounding document which provides background information and outlines the scope of services to be provided by prospective suppliers and complete and return the questionnaire attached at to this document. Any submission received in response to this exercise will not constitute any contractual agreement between the respondent and DOE.
