Tender description

A Baseline Survey on the Condition of Listed Buildings 2013 which will require the following:- • To survey 2400 listed buildings to assess and score their condition including a ‘Buildings at Risk’ survey on the same buildings. The survey is solely on the condition of the exterior envelope of the buildings. Internal access to the properties is therefore not required. • To statistically analyse the collected data and provide a report on the findings. This will include a comparison of the collected data with that of ‘The Boyd Report - 1000 Listed Buildings Survey of Condition including observations on inappropriate works December 2002 – April 2005’ and that of the ‘1992/3 BAR survey in Northern Ireland’ (These are substantial reports and have therefore not been included in the appendix. Hard copies of the reports are available in Waterman House for inspection). The comparison with these reports will only be required at the broad Northern Ireland level and not analysis within sub-groups See Services Scope in MOI Part B for further details.
