Tender description

The Department of the Environmnet (DOE) (the Client) supported by the Strategic Investment Board Ltd (SIB) wishes to appoint a Legal Adviser to deliver the assignment as set out in the Specification. This will include the development of a negotiating strategy for the Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) engagement with its existing private sector PFI Contractor, supporting DVA in contract negotiations with the PFI Contractor, evaluating and providing legal advice on all of the negotiating positions both in terms of the existing Concession Agreement (CA), but also in any new arrangement that may be required in ensuring that any revised contractual arrangement provides a clear, unambiguous position in relation to risk transfer.
