Digital Participatory Experiences

The BBC uses Digital Participatory Experiences, such as quizzes or personality tests, to engage with our audience. These come in many formats. Participatory experiences are fundamental to our content offering across Children’s, Sport, News and BBC Three to help better engage our audience and build a deeper relationship through participation. In Children’s, these experiences are one of the most popular content types (second only to games), so any gap in production of these may result in a reduction in reach and retention of our youngest audience. Children’s also has a long-term ambition for participatory experiences, that is closely aligned to the BBC’s vision for a more personal, participatory BBC:  To attribute participatory experience engagement and results to signed-in users  To reward participatory experience achievements and surface results in leaderboards/profiles  To enable improved discovery of age- and ability-appropriate participatory experiences. The BBC is looking to license a product that will enable the continuation of these participatory experiences. The requirement is to be procured by means of a Framework Agreement. BBC intends to appoint a single supplier to the Framework
