Tender description
1. The Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety has commissioned a study : o To evaluate the impact of HSC R&D funding in Northern Ireland, using three well established areas of research: • Cancer; • Diabetes; and • Mental health; and o To benchmark the findings against comparable work in other countries. 2. The study report will provide evidence for the development of: o The next Strategy for HSC R&D in Northern Ireland: 2013 - 2018; o Policy regarding HSC R&D in Northern Ireland; o Bids to increase the funding allocated to HSC R&D in line with the rest of the UK.
