Central Survey Unit (CSU) is the leading social survey research organisation in Northern Ireland and is one of the main business areas of the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA), an Agency within the Department of Finance and Personnel. The Unit has a long track record and a wealth of experience in the design, management and analysis of behavioural and attitudinal surveys in the context of a wide range of social and economic policy issues. The Unit provides a survey research service to Northern Ireland Government Departments and the wider public sector in Northern Ireland. Central Survey Unit recruits, trains and maintains its own dedicated field force of interviewers covering the whole of Northern Ireland. Central Survey Unit currently maintains a field force of over 300 survey interviewers. These interviewers carry out interviewing assignments for Central Survey Unit on a Slate Tablet PC. As the current preferred Slate Tablet PC is no longer in production there is a need for Central Survey Unit to procure a new Slate Tablet PC. This document defines a requirement on behalf of Central Survey Unit. You are invited to submit a proposal for the supply and delivery of the Slate Tablet PC. The maximum budget for the replacement of the Slate Tablet PCs is £95,000 the aim of this procurement is to purchase as many of these for the maximum budget.
