Properties Division a division within the Department of Finance and Personnel for Northern Ireland wishes on behalf of its Client Organisations to appoint a suitably qualified Consultant who will effectively undertake (1) an Asbestos Survey service which will include Asbestos Management Surveys and Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Type Surveys Service and (2) an Asbestos Management Service, to include the programming and management of all activities associated with the removal of asbestos containing materials, including all necessary inspections and air-monitoring, in compliance with all current legislation and guidelines e.g. the Control of Asbestos Regulations, CDM Regulations etc. The appointment covers Client (including but not limited to Government Departments, Agencies, Non-departmental bodies, Local Authorities or other organisations including subsidised bodies or other grant recipients) properties/sites throughout the whole of Northern Ireland. The contract for the service will be divided geographically into two lots. A single economic operator will be appointed to provide the service exclusively to each area. The Contract duration is to last 4 years from the commencement date with an estimated value for each Lot of £500,000 to £750,000 each.
