Tender description

Belfast City Council has ambitious proposals to transform Giant’s Park, a former waste landfill site, into a valuable asset that will bring significant economic, social and environmental benefits to the city. The Council has innovative plans to create an environmental resource park to encourage the development of the emerging cleantech environmental technology sector within the city. The Council is keen to promote sustainable renewable energy generation and has agreed to release up to c10 acres suitable for commercial solar renewable energy use. This provides an exciting opportunity for a company to acquire the site and develop their own proposals for a solar renewable energy facility.
