Tender description
Upon the making of a bankruptcy order or a winding-up order the OR immediately becomes responsible for safeguarding the assets in insolvent estates. In order to fulfil this responsibility and safeguard the public, the Official Receiver needs to ensure public liability insurance is in place for all the ‘non family home’ properties vested in him. This insurance will cover claims resulting from accidental damage caused to a third party by property vested in the Official Receiver.
