DETI Invest NI - Company Financial Info Database for Ireland, UK and Europe

Tender description

Invest NI has a requirement to tender for the provision of an up-to-date online database of companies in Europe, with particular emphasis on companies in the UK and Ireland. The contract for the provision of this service is for a period of 1 year. We are looking for a database which can be used to search for companies in Europe by a variety of filters, including location, company size, industry, and keywords. It should contain data such as company activities, financial performance, and key contacts. Users should be able to download information in a variety of formats – e.g. word or excel. Although Europe is our main focus, it is desirable that limited access to databases of non European data is provided. The service must be an ‘off-the-shelf’ solution, hosted remotely and accessible to end users via a website. The service will form part of a portfolio of research databases used by staff and clients of the Business Information Centre of Invest NI, and by Invest NI staff. The service will allow companies to carry out desk research to find competitors, customers, suppliers or potential partners in Europe and beyond. This will save companies time and money as they can quickly identify the companies relevant to them, and reduce their expenditure on primary research.
