Tender description

Central Procurement Directorate on behalf of its client Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment wishes to invite tenders for the above named contract. The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI), acting in its capacity as Secretariat to the Economic Advisory Group (EAG), requires a research organisation to develop a competitiveness index to provide base-case and trend performance information on the Northern Ireland economy. The competitiveness index will assist the EAG to fulfil its role in providing independent economic advice to the DETI Minister and wider NI Executive. It will also help fulfil a commitment in the Executive’s Economic Strategy to develop a competitiveness index that will allow for the effective benchmarking of the local economy against competitors and assess progress as the strategy is put into action.
