Tender description

DETI wishes to engage consultants to undertake a study on how Northern Ireland can promote the energy services market, and enable access to SMEs to this market, by encouraging the development of quality labels. It is important to emphasize that the requirement of the Directive is for Member States to ‘encourage’ the development of quality labels. The analysis should examine existing data sources e.g. the Green Deal Quality Mark, as well as the consultant’s own analysis and information gathering to fulfil the project remit. Engagement with key stakeholders e.g. energy service providers, the Department of Energy & Climate Change, is considered essential during the process. An executive summary of the research, analysis and recommendations will be required.
