Design, Supply, Hosting, Support, Training and Maintenance of a Citywide message alert service on behalf of Cork City Council

Tender description

Cork City Council is requesting tenders for the provision of a hosted Cork City public alerts service. The Council is looking for an intuitive and user-friendly solution where a single input can be broadcast to the public using selected channels on a subscription basis. The alerts service must enable the Council to disseminate information to citizens using SMS, email and social media on categories such as roads, floods, severe weather, other emergencies and planning applications based on their geographic location. The alert service must be available 24 hours a day and should be free for citizens to subscribe to and use. Continuity of an alerts service needs to be maintained once the current contract ends in March 2023. The specific requirements of the alert service to be procured are detailed in attached RFT.
