Translink is the brand name for the public transport group of operating companies of Ulsterbus, Northern Ireland Railways and Citybus (which trades under the brand name Metro). The Bus Operations Division encompasses 21 Ulsterbus depots that service provincial operations outside Belfast city and 5 Metro depots that service Belfast city operations. Translink requires a comprehensive software solution that assists Bus Operations with various Depot Allocation and Reporting project objectives: The initial contract will be for a pilot project, in a single Ulsterbus depot, to establish the feasibility and effectiveness of such a system.
