DEL - Stranmillis Central Building Ground Floor (B2)

Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of works to Central Building , Stranmillis University College, Stranmillis, Belfast, BT9 5DY. The works are :- Internal alterations/refurbishment (296sqm) and extension of the ground floor to include the creation of a level access main entrance including lobby (19sqm) plus extension to the North facade (55sqm). To include the demolition of internal walls to create an open plan space for cafe, seating and reception. Ancillary works include the consolidation of WC requirements. Extension construction includes piled and raft foundations, structural steel deck and frame, bespoke CNC milled timber cladding and bespoke structural glass curtain walling. Mechanical requirements include provision of radiant heating panels,AC units and ventilation. Electrical requirements include; general and emergency lighting, general purpose power, data and telephone, fire alarm and CCTV. External alterations (585sqm) to create an improved shared surface link with the adjacent Orchard Building. Please see MOI Part B for more information
