DEL Consultancy Support for Steps to Success Project

Tender description

For the new Employment Intervention Programme, known as Steps 2 Success (NI), to function in tandem with the planned introduction of Universal Credit it will need to be operational by February 2014. For this to happen the Project Team needs to be supplemented with a wider blend of specialist technical, financial and commercial skills and expertise. The assignment seeks to commission specialist independent advice and expertise to strategically support the Project Team across a range of key areas as they seek to refine the design of and then implement the new S2S programme. It will provide the Project Team with an additional element of reassurance in terms of proving a high level of scrutiny, independence and commercial realism. It is expected that the majority of the specialist input will be requiremed between February 2013 and September 2013. For procurement purposes the Department has separated these key areas into three lots. Tenderers can bid for one, two or all contract lots.
