The main defibrillator/monitor is used daily by every shift for patient monitoring in the ambulance and on occasions near to the incident scene. As such the devices are required to be in a constant state of readiness. The device needs to adapt to the physical needs of the patient and be robust and rugged to withstand the changing environments that it is operated within. The devices need to be supported by a range of peripheries and consumables and the availability of comprehensive product support and warranty packages are highly desirable.
