Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of a complete design and project management service to take forward the Project from initiation of the brief through to post occupancy evaluation of the completed works (including defects correction period). The Consultant’s team will be expected to include all professional disciplines necessary to provide the complete service. The proposed project is the extension and refurbishment of St Bernard’s primary school to provide a three-stream intake as a 21-classbase school. (Works include the provision of five classrooms as two clusters in temporary units and a staff room as a temporary unit to be joined to an existing corridor. Also included will be the demolition of a single storey timber-framed classroom block to provide a site for the new temporary units and minor refurbishment within the existing school to enable reassignment of classrooms and group spaces. Siteworks will include the provision of additional hard play areas.) It is anticipated that the contract period will be 30 months to allow for phasing as a consequence of health and safety planning and this period shall include 12 months defects.
