The Contract is for the provision of a complete design and project management service to take forward the Project from initiation of the brief through to post occupancy evaluation of the completed works (including defects correction period). The Consultant’s team will be expected to include all professional disciplines necessary to provide the complete service. This Contract is in 3 Parts. Part 1 - Stage 1 – Preparation (including confirmation of Schedule of Accommodation); Part 2 - Stage 2 – Scheme Design; Stage 3 – Works Information; Part 3 - Stage 4 – Procurement of Works Contractor; Stage 5 – Construction Phase; Stage 6 – Handover and Post Construction Period. The Project is for the appointment of a consultant’s team who will, on behalf of the employer, undertake within the scheme parameters, a feasibility study on the proposals as detailed below, with the understanding that should capital funding be approved, the scheme would be advanced to full development and delivery. The works will involve the provision of a new permanent build Sports Hall, Gymnasium and Fitness Suite with ancillaries including changing facilities (*total floor area circa 1,425m2), together with Site Works and general playing areas including: • A new floodlit 3G synthetic pitch (circa 6,450m2). • Three new tennis courts. • Repairs to the existing grass rugby pitch. • Subject to budget constraints, creating additional grass play area and improvements to existing courts provision.
