The Independent Counselling Service for Schools (ICSS) has been accessible to all grant aided post primary schools that choose to use it from the beginning of September 2007. There are three referral routes: - young people are able to self refer, may be referred by the school or by a parent/carer. In the interests of equity, the Department wishes to extend access to the same type of counselling support to all pupils of post primary age in special schools. Tender offers are invited from service providers who can deliver all of the required services within each of the following contract area(s): 1. ARDS AND NORTH DOWN 2. FERMANAGH AND OMAGH 3. CAUSEWAY COAST 4. MID ULSTER 5. NEWRY CITY AND DOWN 6. DERRY CITY AND STRABANE 7. MID ANTRIM 8. ARMAGH CITY AND BANN 9. ANTRIM AND NEWTOWNABBEY 10. LISBURN CITY AND CASTLEREAGH 11. BELFAST Each contract area will be evaluated on an individual basis. Following the evaluation of tender offers, one service provider will be successful in each of the contract areas.
