Tender description
The tuberculosis laboratory within the Bacteriology Branch of the Veterinary Sciences Division is an integral part of the Agri-Food & Biosciences Institute (AFBI). AFBI is a DARD Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB). The laboratory carries out a statutory function in relation to bovine tuberculosis, which is integral to the DARD’s field tuberculosis eradication programme. The laboratory has two fully automated liquid systems as a culture system for isolating mycobacteria. The laboratory is seeking suitable liquid media that can be run on these liquid systems.
