The Department’s Veterinary Service provides a vital service to industry. The service includes the delivery of animal disease prevention programmes, welfare investigations, prevention and control of epizootic disease, protection of public health and the support for meat production and exports. The items covered by this tender are for use by the DARD Animal Health and Welfare Inspectors and Veterinary Officers in performing their duties and delivering service to customers. This tender includes the necessary personal protection equipment to support DARD Veterinary Service in carrying out their work in a safe manner. It is anticipated the contract will be awarded October 2013. Tender documents can be obtained electronically for registered users of Central Procurement Directorate’s e-sourcing system, e-sourcing NI.
