DARD - Handheld Devices, Accessories and Software Solution for TB Testing

Tender description

The scope of this project is for the provision of a solution to allow inspectors to carry out TB inspection on farms with a handheld device (32 devices are required in the initial year of the contract period). The solution must also include use of software on the device to capture the data and then be downloaded to a PC via physical link and then from there sent to the APHIS database. The solution must include any software required to enable a two way end to end inspection process, any associated accessories and software upgrades. In addition the solution must provide additional accessories for the devices, which include carrying straps, cables, chargers (including car charger if applicable) and rechargeable batteries. Finally the tenderer must also provide repair, support and maintenance for the hardware and software proposed in their tender. The tenderer may be required to provide additional handheld solutions (hardware, software and accessories) up to a maximum of 10 per year throughout the life of this contract. The initial contract term is for 5 years and DARD reserves the right to extend this contract for a further 5 x 1 years.
