Cuilcagh Mountain Path at the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark

Tender description

Those wishing to be considered for inclusion on a Select List to be invited to tender must be Constructionline registered and be capable of delivering all aspects of the works including that undertaking the role of Principal Contractor in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2007. This contract involves the construction of a 1.5 mile (approximately) timber boardwalk. The contract is labour intensive and the use of mechanical machinery will not be permitted due to its remote location, this is also to ensure that the environment is protected and to conform with statutory limitations and conditions of planning. This project is funded under the Border Uplands Project (BUP). The BUP is a cross-border, tourism development project, between the Irish Central Border Area Network (ICBAN), Fermanagh District Council, Cavan County Council, Leitrim County Council and Sligo County Council. The Project is funded under the European Union’s INTERREG IVA Programme managed by the Special EU Programme Body (SEUPB).
