Requirement title: Corporate Clothing, Workwear & Footwear This is a requirement for Translink and returns for this section are due by: 15:00 UK Local Time on Monday 9 July 2012 Translink wishes to award one or more contracts for the supply and delivery of corporate clothing, workwear and footwear. Translink employs over 3,800 people at sites across Northern Ireland. Our staff carry out a variety of operational, engineering and support roles across our bus and rail operations. Staff receive periodic issues of clothing, workwear and protective footwear; there is also a requirement for rapid turnaround ad hoc orders, e.g. for new staff or replacement of damaged items. These orders will normally require delivery within 48 hours. The requirement consists of 5 Lots; our intention is to have one supplier for each Lot. The Lots are: Lot 1 Protective Footwear (c. 3,600 staff) Lot 2 Structured Garments (c. 2,750 staff) Lot 3 Engineering / Industrial Workwear (c. 500 staff) Lot 4 High Visibility Outerwear (c. 400 staff) Lot 5 Infrastructure High Visibility Workwear (c. 150 staff) Tenderers may bid for any or all of the Lots. Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and it is intended that all communications with Translink including the submission of PQQ and Tender responses will be conducted via www.e-sourcingni.bravosolution.co.uk. Unless stated otherwise in these Instructions or in writing from Translink, all communications including queries from Applicants and any PQQ amendments from Translink during the period of this procurement exercise shall be submitted through and published via the online messaging facility provided on the e-sourcing NI portal (see “Messages” section). The onus lies on the applicant to read and keep up to date with all the information published on eSourcing NI in relation to this requirement.
