Tender description
As part of its Community Development Programme, Newtownabbey Council has carried out a review of its community centre operations. The review has highlighted a number of issues, including; the poor state of the existing facilities and: the need for more involvement by the communities themselves in the running of the sites. The Council therefore decided to carry out a refurbishment of the centres at Ballyduff and Monkstown, with the view of leasing the properties to the local community groups to operate.
