CONSTRUCTION QS SERVICES APPROVED LIST

Tender description

To ensure that the physical estate and patient environments remain caring, safe and excellent, the Trust maintains an extensive buildings improvement programme as part of the annual Capital Investment Plan. The current plan for FY14 is £30m and there is a rolling 5 year plan of £86m. As part of the Estates Directorate, the Capital Development Team is responsible for delivering the annual plan and to assist with the delivery of relevant projects. Experienced organisations, capable of providing QS services (including CDMC, clerk of works, project management and cost management) are invited to apply for inclusion on the ‘Estates Approved List for QS Services’. Interested, suitable organisations that are accredited members of RICS, will be requested to complete a PQQ prior to interview for inclusion on the approved list. The organisations appointed to the approved list will be invited to tender or quote for services to support projects with a construction value below the OJEU works threshold, and where the value of the professional services (as described above) required for each project is expected to be less than the OJEU services threshold (currently £111,676 excluding VAT). The approved list will be reviewed periodically, based upon the performance of each organisation against programme and budget.
