The Purchasing Department is part of the Finance Division. The Department performs a central core purchasing and purchase ledger (invoice processing) function for the Translink Group. The terms “Translink”, “Translink Group” and “Group” are deemed to be interchangeable in the documents relating to this procurement and for the avoidance of doubt each means the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company and all of its subsidiary companies including Citybus Limited, Flexibus Limited, NIR Travel Limited, Northern Ireland Railways Company Limited, Travel NI Limited, Translink NI Limited, and Ulsterbus Limited. The initial Contract is for the supply and delivery of the following railway track components for the Coleraine to Derry~Londonderry Renewals Project Phase 1 including: 1. 13,000No. Standard finish red e1809 Clips Unipart Catalogue No. 57/48255 2. 13,000No. Orange Nylon Insulators Unipart Catalogue No. 57/48424 3. 6,500 5.5mm thick EVA “H” pads by Pandrol or equal and approved Unipart Catalogue No. 57/48521 Delivery is to Northern Ireland Railways’ Permanent Way Stores, Princes Street, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, N.Ireland, BT42 1AD. It is NIR’s intention to retain the successful economic operator to supply any requirements for the above track components until 31st December 2014 with a further 12 month extension option.
