Tender description

As part of University of Ulster’s rationalisation programme on its Coleraine campus it is looking to construct a new teaching block to replace the ageing facilities currently housed in South Buildings. The new building will be located in a green field site adjacent to central buildings and Block known as “H”. The proposed building is to be three-storeys with a dedicated ground floor entrance and two link corridors at first and second floor level tying the new build back into Block H and giving good adjacency to current LRC and other central teaching accommodation. It will house a series of 60, 40 and 20 person teaching rooms, a 250 capacity racked lecture theatre, student and IT hubs, plant and circulation space. The aspiration is to achieve BREEAM “excellent
