NHS East Sussex Downs & Weald and NHS Hastings & Rother are conducting a procurement exercise for a Children’s Integrated Therapy Service in East Sussex. The fundamental aims of integrating the commissioning of children’s therapy services across the NHS and the Local Authority is to achieve the vision of removing inefficiencies and duplication, promoting equality of access and increasing value for money, resulting in improved outcomes for children. A single therapy service including all therapies - speech and language, occupational therapy and physiotherapy managed through the Children’s Services Authority and reporting to the Section 75 Joint Commissioning Board.
