Child and Aolescent Mental Health Services - Early Intervention

Tender description

To provide a comprehensive community based responsive emotional health and wellbeing service across Bedfordshire for children and young people aged 0-18 years old with a focus on vulnerable groups such as ethnic minorities, LAC, refugees and asylum seekers, travellers, children with learning disabilities and young offenders. Early intervention refers to the delivery of a prompt response to the early manifestation of mental health problems, through support which is delivered in a community setting. This support for identified additional needs can be addressed through interventions at universal and targeted levels linking to a pathway to specialist interventions when these are needed. This requires early recognition and identification supported by protocols and plans for a full range of comprehensive early intervention support services in universal and through to targeted services to meet the assessed needs of the population and to fulfil the performance requirements of this indicator under Vital Signs/ NI51.
