Tender description

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive invites tenders for the provision of a Catering Service in its Headquarters building (The Housing Centre), located in 2 Adelaide Street Belfast BT2 8PB, for a period of two years commencing 1 October 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter with options to extend the arrangement for two further periods each of 12 months. The Housing Centre accommodates approximately 600 staff in an eight storey office block located in Adelaide Street in Belfast City Centre. As the flagship building of the organisation, it is the office base of the Chief Executive and the Housing Executive Board and also accommodates the Housing Executive’s main training suite. The Housing Executive is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide a consistently high standard of catering both for staff, corporate hospitality purposes. meetings and training courses. The contractor will be required to provide a range of catering services including the provision of a “coffee shop” service throughout the working day to accommodate variable working practices of staff.
