Catering Lease within Carnfunnock Country Park (within two onsite premises)

Tender description

The existing catering contract, within Carnfunnock Country Park, is due to terminate on 26th April 2015. Mid & East Antrim Borough Council wishes to appoint a competent and experienced caterer for the Catering Lease at Carnfunnock Country Park based within two onsite premises (a) Visitor Centre Coffee Shop; and (b) Activity Centre Snack Stop. (See Appendix 1 for Site Location Plan) On request, catering services must also be provided elsewhere onsite to facilitate Education Centre and BBQ bookings, alongside events. Carnfunnock Country Park attracts in the region of 200,000 visitors annually and is strategically located at the start of the beautiful Causeway Coastal route. 2.2 CONTRACT PERIOD It is anticipated that the lease will be awarded by mid - end May 2015. The contract will run from May 2015 – 31st December 2017 with an option to extend by 3 x 12 month periods subject to review and satisfactory performance.
