Tender description

Many of the key operations on NI Water’s Water Supply and Waste Water sites are dependent on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). These PLCs have many different software and programming requirements. This work is extensive and must be carried out by a specialist competent person or body who can clearly demonstrate an understanding of the equipment and process. Currently these requirements are carried out by a number of external contract service providers who provide both a routine and out of hours service for NI Water. This tender seeks to formalise the contract in line with NI Water finance and procurement delegations and provide more effective management of these requirements.
